Oat and Raisin Cookies

I know cookies filled with raisins get a bad rep, that they are pretending to be a chocolate chip cookie and fool everyone, but these are actually really good. I made them too thin and slightly overcooked and they were really great, so just think how great they would be if they worked out right!

Although like anyone I would prefer a chocolate chip, this oat and raisin cookie is so chewy and full of flavor it’s 100% the next best thing.

  • 120g Melted BUtter
  • 1 large egg
  • 50g caster sugar
  • 110g plain Flour
  • 90g Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 100g Oats
  • 100g Raisins

  1. Mix the melted butter, egg and caster sugar together until creamy and fluffy.
  2. Add all the dry ingredicnts together, and add the butter mix together in sections- folding it together.
  3. Spoon onto a baking try covered in baking paper and cook for 15 mins at 180 degrees.
