There are so many different types of cinnamon buns, and every single time i make them i do something slightly different and they look different taste different. Never pretty but always always yum x1000. I really love these thing, they are one of my favorite things to snack on so i hope you enjoy them as much as me!
Ingredients-
- 100g butter
- 200ml milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 250g plain plain flour
- 250g strong white flour
- 1½ tsp fast-action yeast
- 4 tsp ground cardamom
- 4 tbsp caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- For the Filling
- 100g Caster sugar
- 5 tbsp Cinnamon
- 200g Melted Butter
Method-

In a saucepan heat the butter, milk and salt until the butter is melted. Allow the mixture to cool until it is lukewarm.

Mix together the flours, yeast, and sugar until combined. Make a well in the center and crack in the eggs. Pour in the lukewarm milk mixture and stir everything together to form a sticky dough.

Oil the desktop and turn the dough out onto the surface and knead for 5-8 minutes. Cover the bowl with a clean tea towel and set aside in a warm place to prove for an hour, or until doubled in size.

Mix the softened butter in a bowl with the sugar and cinnamon. Mix it together and put to one side.

When the dough has risen, turn out onto a floured work surface and gently roll out. Spread the cinnamon-sugar-butter evenly over the dough.

With the longest edge closest to you, roll the dough up into a line. Cut into slices.

Place each slice onto a baking tray.

Pre-heat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6.
